Electrician - Data Centre, Slough, JIB gold card, Ipaf
Pay: -27 per hour | Start: 23/03/2026 | Contract: -1 year if reliable

Tech People are looking for a skilled Electrician to work in a live data centre in Slough. This is a sensitive environment, so attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols is essential.

Details:

• Location: Slough Data Centre
• Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (9 hours paid if worked)
• Work: Electrical installation and strip-out works, including light fittings
• Requirements: JIB Gold Card, IPAF certification, own tools & PPE
• Other perks: Free parking available
• Contract: Approx. 1 year if reliable

Requirements:

• Carry out electrical strip-out works safely in a live data centre environment
• Install, terminate, and test new electrical circuits and equipment
• Replace light fittings, cable trays, and other electrical infrastructure
• Follow strict health & safety and site protocols to prevent downtime
• Coordinate with site engineers and management to ensure minimal disruption to critical systems
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace, ensuring all waste and debris is removed
• Report any faults, hazards, or irregularities immediately
• Work at height when necessary, using IPAF equipment safely
