Job Role: Electrician - Social Housing

Location: East London (Mobile)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Basic)

Spencer & James are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Electrician to join a multi disciplinary main contractor within their property services team. 

If you have a proven track record in social housing maintenance and are looking for stability with career progression, this role is for you!

Your Role:

As an Electrician, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance and installation services across social housing stock in East London. Work assignments will be sent via a PDA device, and you’ll keep track of jobs and materials with daily work sheets. This is a mobile role, so a full UK driver’s license is essential.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical repairs, renewals, and installations in void and occupied properties.
• Maintain high-quality work standards while adhering to schedules.
• Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Full UK Driver’s License
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition certification.
• 2931 Testing and Inspection or equivalent (ideal but not mandatory).
• Previous experience in social housing maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Dedication to delivering exceptional workmanship.
