We are looking for an-Electrician-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the-UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an-Electrician-to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

As the-Electrician,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The-Electrician,-will be responsible for:

  • As an Electrical Engineer working in an airport environment, you will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Low Voltage (LV) Distribution:-Maintenance and management of LV distribution systems essential for airport operations.
  • UPS & Batteries:-Routine checks and servicing of Uninterruptible Power Supplies critical for operational continuity.
  • Lighting & Emergency Lighting:-Maintenance of lighting systems, including emergency lighting for compliance and safety.
  • Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC):-Maintaining HVAC systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Fire and Intruder Systems:-Regular servicing and troubleshooting of fire alarms and security systems.
  • Water Hygiene:-Ensuring water systems meet hygiene standards in compliance with regulations.
  • Lightning Protection:-Maintaining and testing lightning protection systems.
  • Building Maintenance & Site Infrastructure:-General upkeep of facilities.

To be successful for this Electrician role you must have:

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management role, preferably within a complex operational environment.
  • Electrical Authorised Person (AP) experience is beneficial.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Electrical Level 3 Award, City & Guilds (C&G) 2391, and 18th Edition certification.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices, including Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks, such as working at heights, manual handling, and confined spaces.
  • Willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota when required.
  • A full driving license is essential.
