Electrician

Hi there,

We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to be based at:

Location: 1 Stockport Exchange, 20 Railway Road, Stockport, SK1 3SW
Salary: -38,000 - -40,000 per annum

This is a full-time, static role where you will take ownership of electrical and building services maintenance at a high-profile office building within Stockport Exchange, supported by a wider mobile team when required.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on electrical systems

• Respond to reactive maintenance tasks and ensure timely resolution

• Support wider building services (HVAC/mechanical knowledge beneficial)

• Manage and coordinate contractors working across the buildings

• Build and maintain strong relationships with the on-site client

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and site protocols

• Provide clear communication and updates to senior stakeholders

• Maintain accurate records of work completed and site activity

• Static role with a company vehicle available if you opt into the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks)

• If not joining the on-call rota, the vehicle benefit is excluded

• You''ll be the sole engineer on-site, so being proactive, reliable, and confident is essential

• The site is high-profile, so professional presentation and communication are a must

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition preferred)

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance or facilities management

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems (with HVAC/mechanical awareness desirable)

• Comfortable managing contractors and liaising with senior clients

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and take initiative
