Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gold Card Electrician with a valid ECS/JIB Gold Card and current 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems across commercial and industrial works.

Key Responsibilities as a Electrician:

• Carry out electrical installations in accordance with the current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on systems and equipment
• Perform electrical testing, inspections, and certification (e.g., EICRs)
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Liaise with clients, site managers, and other trades on-site
• Complete job sheets and documentation accurately and on time

Requirements as a Electrician:

• Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card
• City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Experience in commercial, industrial, electrical work
• Full UK driving licence 
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
• CSCS card
• SSSTS qualification
• IPAF, PASMA qualifications

Desirable:

• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Happy to work away from home UK/EU
