Pay Rate: Paye rate £18.35 per hour, umbrella rate £23.32 per hour
 
Role Overview
Darlington Borough Council is seeking a qualified Electrician (Craft 1+) to carry out electrical work across a range of domestic and commercial properties. The role involves maintenance, installation, and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and installation work.
• Perform fire alarm and emergency lighting testing.
• Work across a variety of domestic and commercial buildings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (relevant electrical qualifications required).
• Experience working in domestic and commercial environments.
• Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
