Electrician – Social Housing Reactive Maintenance
Location: North West London
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £46,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a social housing repairs and maintenance team covering North West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a secure, permanent position carrying out reactive electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and fault finding across occupied social housing properties.
The RoleYour day-to-day work will involve electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and fault finding across domestic social housing properties.
Key duties include:
- Carrying out reactive electrical repairs within occupied social housing properties
- Fault finding and diagnostics on domestic electrical systems
- Completing EICRs, testing and inspection works
- Identifying electrical defects and completing remedial works
- General domestic electrical maintenance and repairs
- Using a PDA/handheld device to manage and update jobs
- Working professionally within tenants'' homes
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and customer service
- Managing your own daily workload
Previous experience within social housing, housing associations, council properties or domestic reactive maintenance is highly desirable.
You will be working directly in residents'' homes, so a professional, respectful and customer-focused approach is essential.
Requirements- Qualified Electrician with proven domestic maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working in occupied properties
- Social housing experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation
- NVQ Level 3
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent
- £46,000 basic salary
