Permanent £19-20ph plus van and fuel card, holiday pay and other company benefits.

Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a busy and friendly team carrying out electrical maintenance on the social housing response team covering Swindon and surrounding area.

The role will mainly cover Swindon and surrounding, with the successful candidate based within a suitable location to cover the area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking for secure, long term secure work, with a competitive salary, company van and fuel card.

This role will start temp to perm which works well to give both parties a chance to work together before the permanent contract begins. 

This would really suit a self employed Electrician who is tired of orgainsing his own jobs, pricing and being let down, all the work is organised for you and ready on a tablet for the next day. It will also suit someone in a permanent role looking for a change.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs on domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs on social housing properties

• Fault finding and problem solving

• Carrying out electrical testing where required

• Completing remedial works

• Providing a professional service to customers

• Reporting to the Supervisor and keeping them updated on completed works

• Completing job sheets and relevant paperwork

• Travelling between properties in a company van

• Driving the company vehicle safely and responsibly
   

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

• 18th Edition

• 2391 qualification desirable

• Good experience carrying out domestic electrical maintenance

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Reliable with good timekeeping

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
