Electrician – Responsive Repairs Team

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading social housing provider''s Responsive Repairs Team, covering Havant & Portsmouth 

This is a permanent position working 39 hours per week:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday 8 - 3:30pm 
• Saturday (Once in Month, Get a half day during the week) - 8 - 1pm
• OOH - 1 in 4 weeks. £525 extra (£6,000 extra per Year) 
   

• Carrying out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance within occupied and void properties.

• Electrical fault finding, testing, inspection, and remedial works.

• Fixed wire testing and certification.

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems up to 230v/415v.

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.

• Accurately completing certificates, reports, and job documentation.

• Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

• Delivering excellent customer service whilst working in residents'' homes.

• NVQ LVL 3 - Gold Card 
• AM2
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• C&G 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.

• Qualified electrician with experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.

• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance.

• Ability to complete certification and documentation accurately.

• Experience working within social housing or responsive repairs environments is desirable.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Full UK Driving Licence.
