Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable role with excellent progression? We re recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to support a brand-new facility in Plymouth. This is a largely electrical role within a modern, sustainable building featuring air source heat pumps and solar panels. You ll join a supportive Facilities Management team with clear progression towards LV/AP and HVAP qualifications. The Role As the Maintenance Electrician, you will: Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the facility. Complete PPMs, fault finding, inspections and day-to-day maintenance tasks. Maintain electrical systems within an all-electric, sustainable building. Support the supervision and development of junior engineers. Work with specialist fire and intruder alarm contractors when required. Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota. About You To be successful as the Maintenance Electrician, you ll have: A recognised electrical maintenance qualification. NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent experience. Previous experience in electrical maintenance or Facilities Management. Strong fault-finding and communication skills. A proactive approach and willingness to develop technically. 18th Edition qualification is preferred but not essential.
