Electrician - PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance)

Up to £50,000 (DOE) + Company Van
Multiple locations: Bedford, Luton, London, Kent, Northampton
50 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Overtime available (time & a half / double time)
On-call rota: approx. 3–4 weeks per year

In this role, you’ll work across commercial and industrial environments, carrying out a range of PPM and reactive maintenance tasks, including:

• Conducting planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Inspecting, testing, and certifying installations in line with BS 7671
• Producing EICs, EICRs, and Minor Works Certificates
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults across distribution boards, control panels, and plant equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and site procedures
• Working closely with site managers, engineers, and other trades to deliver safe and efficient maintenance services

• Gold Card (working towards and achievable within a few months will also be considered)
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671)
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) – Inspection & Testing
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and testing experience
• Good understanding of three-phase systems and electrical containment
