Electrician

Electrician, Domestic, -24.00 per hour, -25 meal allowance, Long Term

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a long-term social housing project across Argyll and Bute. This is a 26-week contract offering a competitive rate of -24.00 per hour, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across approximately 800 residential properties
• Complete remedial works associated with Code 1 and Code 2 observations
• Undertake general electrical maintenance and repairs as required
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations
• Travel across Helensburgh & Lomond, Mid Argyll, Kintyre, and Cowal to support project delivery

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with current 18th Edition certification
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to work in a mobile role
• Experience carrying out EICRs and remedial works within domestic or social housing environments
• Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices
• 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
