Engineering Shift Engineer
Salary: £39,000 – £42,000
Shift Pattern: 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm

Our client is seeking a multi-skilled Shift Engineer with an electrical bias to join their busy food production site. You’ll play a vital role in keeping the factory running by carrying out preventative maintenance, responding quickly to breakdowns, and ensuring all equipment is safe, efficient, and fit for purpose.

To be successful, you’ll need to be 18th Edition qualified, apprenticeship trained, and have experience in a food or FMCG environment. Food Safety and IOSH certificates are required, while PLC and BRC knowledge are desirable. Most importantly, you’ll be proactive, safety-focused, and able to work effectively under pressure.

In return, our client offers a competitive salary of £39,000 – £42,000, a rotating shift pattern (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm), and the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive, high-performing team.
