Electrical/Avionics Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:Assist in leading the execution of electrical/avionics engineering activities ensuring products and services are delivered on time and on budgetManage employees performing electrical/avionic design and certification activities, implementing and enforcing engineering functional excellenceDrive the development and execution of technical projects and process plans, setting effective operational goalsDevelop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reportsProvide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManage, develop, and motivate employees, including skill, career, and talent developmentHandle day-to-day project management of engineering activities related to EASA design organisation projectsProvide regular feedback to the Senior Engineering Manager on the performance of the teamJob Requirements:Degree from an accredited course of study in aerospace or other safety critical engineering disciplinesExperience working in an EASA Design Organisation (DOA) or similar aerospace fieldsSkills/Experience:Knowledge of Type Design and Continuing Airworthiness for EASA/FAA aircraftUnderstanding of the certification of part/CS 23/25, 27/29 aircraft and their design changes and modificationsProven record of delivering complex engineering change programmes with strong project management skillsExpert in managing both experienced and junior engineers, with a track record of building highly effective ..... full job details .....
