Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:25am-16:30pm Friday 7:30am-13:10pm

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an Assembler to join our client''s team, responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring, and testing of low-voltage distribution and panel boards.

This is a hands-on role where quality, safety, and attention to detail are critical. You will work to technical drawings and industry standards to deliver reliable, high-performance electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, wire, and test distribution boards and panel boards in line with guidelines
• Read and interpret electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams
• Select, check, and prepare components prior to build
• Assemble wiring looms using various cable crimping tools
• Carry out electrical testing including
• Diagnose and resolve wiring and assembly faults
• Maintain accurate production and test documentation
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production targets

Desirable but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate:

• 18th Edition (BS 7671) knowledge or qualification
• Panel testing experience
• Proven experience in a low-voltage panel building environment
• Understanding of electrical systems and components
• Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy

Working Environment

• Primarily workshop-based with occasional site work
• Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Safety-focused, team-oriented environment
