Electrical Test Engineer Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire Salary: £35,000 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week Shift: Days Job Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join a well-established and highly specialist engineering business based in Droitwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a hands-on testing and fault-finding role within a technically advanced manufacturing environment. The business specialises in the design and manufacture of induction melting furnaces and automatic pouring equipment used within foundries and metal-processing industries across the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for the testing, inspection, fault finding and final sign-off of complex electrical and control systems before equipment is dispatched to customers. The Role As an Electrical Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Testing and inspecting complex electrical and control systems within a manufacturing environment. Testing high-power electrical equipment, including inverters and control systems. Working on induction melting furnaces and associated equipment. Testing and fault-finding single and three-phase electrical systems. Working with PLC and PC-based control systems, including online fault diagnosis.
