The Electrical Field Technician will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on high voltage and low voltage electrical equipment, ensuring maximum plant availability with minimal downtime.As the Electrical Field Technician you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment across sites in the West regionDiagnosing and repairing electrical faults on switchgear, transformers, generator sets and associated systemsOperating high voltage switchgear and carrying out electrical isolations safelySupporting the rebuild team by safely isolating and disconnecting alternators ahead of engine removalInducting and overseeing on-site electrical contractors, ensuring all relevant safety documentation is completedIdentifying opportunities to improve plant reliability, reduce costs and increase efficiencyCompleting daily work reports and monthly updates on maintenance programmes, issues and actionsEnsuring all work complies with company procedures, health and safety policies and relevant ..... full job details .....
