Electrical Technician - TrainsLocation: Southampton Contract: 12 months, potential for extension Shifts: Nights, 5 on and 5 offStart Date: 29th June Training/shadowing period will be days.Pay Rates:Umbrella: 30.42 per hour (the rate includes 130% night shift uplift)PAYE: 23.17 per hour (the rate includes 130% night shift uplift)Role OverviewWe are looking for skilled Technicians to support a major Rolling Stock project, working on a variety of rail fleets within a modern, well-equipped depot. You''ll be responsible for electrical and modification activities on associated components, working to all required safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out post upgrade testing and advanced fault finding and diagnostic activitiesUndertake any other duties as and when required within the scope of the modification workCarry out and assist with fault finding Undertake any other duties as and when required, identify, and collect materials from stores.Be aware of safety at work and be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible by following all health and safety procedures.Working underneath the specified engineering instructions and drawings, following the methods and tooling specified within them.Raising any issues with the tasks to be conducted, especially issues relating to safety and quality, to the on-site Supervisor/Production Manager.Principal AccountabilitiesDeliver high-quality mechanical repairs, modifications, and ..... full job details .....
