It is a highly varied, hands-on role, from planned preventative maintenance and fault-finding through to installations, testing, inspections and breakdown response. Be clear on one thing: this is not a desk job. Up to 90% of your time will be spent outdoors across operational plant areas, often at height and in all weathers.
