Electrical Technician
P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team in Cambridge on a full-time temporary basis for 6-12 weeks Job Summary: The main role of this assignment is to assist with the electrical assembly aspect of Control Systems. To assemble, service and test components/modules specified in the production of Control Systems and to understand and use associated test equipment and tools. Main Responsibilities: Understand and, at all times, comply with the instructions/requirements specified in published company Manufacturing Quality Systems and associated procedure documentation. Read/understand the content of electrical schematic/wiring diagrams and assist in the planning of cable, tray and component layout. Assemble/operate test equipment, diagnose component/system/procedural faults and take the necessary remedial action. Operate/use equipment provided within the production area and report any faults arising. Act as a member of a designated production team, as required. Maintain a high level of personal discipline in the area of timekeeping, work performance and general conduct. Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the production area at all times. Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management. Person Specification: Qualified Electrician with recognised formal training.
