NP Aerospace is looking for skilled Electrical Technician to support high-priority defence vehicle programmes in our Coventry facility. These temporary roles place you at the heart of our vehicle integration teams, where precision wiring, system installation, and mission-critical reliability come together. We are seeking hands-on technicians with proven experience in electrical system installation and repair.What you''ll be doing
You''ll be part of a specialist production team, installing and testing bespoke electrical systems on low-volume, high-specification defence vehicles.Install MOTS/COTS electrical systems for survivability and mission-critical functionsAssemble and route electrical looms, harnesses, and sub-systems to precise standardsRead and interpret schematic drawings and manage Bills of Materials (BoMs)Conduct loom manufacture and bench modification of electro-mechanical sub-systemsSupport prototype development alongside the Electrical Design teamApply lean manufacturing principles and contribute to process improvementsWork safely, consistently, and with pride in delivering vehicles that protect livesNote: If you join us on a Fixed-Term Contract, you’ll also receive the listed benefits below.Qualifications / Requirements
HNC or equivalent in Automotive Electrical Systems installation and repairExperience in low-volume or specialist vehicle manufacturingUnderstanding of OEM automotive systems and military specification radios/sub-systemsKnowledge of electromagnetic interference and its impact on networksStrong fault-finding ability using electrical theory and diagnostic principlesA proactive, team-focused attitude with excellent attention to detailAdditional information: NP Aerospace is a global leader in armour systems and vehicle integration.
