Electrical Technician

Senior Electrical Technician Fixed Term -Oxfordshire Up to 45k We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based engineering organisation for a Senior Electrical Technician to join an experienced engineering team. The role will involve the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of complex electrical systems, together with providing technical guidance to other technicians and supporting engineers with equipment design and implementation. Key requirements for the Electrical Technician - ONC/OND, City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Practical experience with electrical/mechanical assembly, soldering, crimping, cable manufacture and rack wiring. Good understanding of electrical safety and safe systems of work. Experience of instrumentation or control systems would be advantageous. Some experience supervising, mentoring or training technical staff would be beneficial.
