Electrical Technician Location: Barrow-in-Furness Rate: £306 per day PAYE plus 33 days holidays Start Date: October 2026 - 2 year contract duration Working Pattern: 9-day fortnight Working hours are 9 hours per day, 7:30am start. Land and Sea Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to support maintenance operations at the Morecambe Hub in Barrow-in-Furness. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical maintenance professional with a background in the oil and gas, petrochemical or similar process industry to join an operational team responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient performance of plant and equipment associated with gas production, processing and condensate storage. The successful Electrical Technician will undertake routine and non-routine electrical maintenance and defect repair activities, ensuring plant and equipment remains safe, reliable and available for scheduled operations. The role will involve investigating technical issues affecting critical plant, identifying appropriate solutions and supporting the return of equipment to normal service. You will also be involved in commissioning and decommissioning activities, plant modifications and technical improvements, as well as preparing technical reports and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
