Electrical Technician

Our client, operating within the nuclear sector, is currently seeking two Electrical Technicians for a contract position at Dungeness A. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals with a background in electrical engineering to contribute to a significant project over approximately 12 months.

• Executing electrical installations and maintenance in compliance with industry standards
• Performing initial verification and certification of electrical installations
• Ensuring adherence to IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Collaborating with team members to meet project milestones
• Maintaining safety standards and following site-specific procedures
• Conducting routine inspections and testing of electrical systems
• Reporting progress and any issues to the site supervisor

• City & Guilds Level 3 Certification in Electrical Engineering
• Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations
• IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification
• CSCS or affiliated scheme card for the relevant trade
• Experience in the nuclear sector, specifically NRS (Magnox) sites, preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Good communication skills

• Approximate duration: 12 months
• Work schedule: 4-day week, 10-hour days
