Electrical Supervisor

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee works on a live commercial project. This role requires strong on-site leadership, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage electrical installations in a live environment while minimising disruption to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations
• Liaise with site management, clients, and other trades
• Carry out inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
• Interpret electrical drawings and resolve technical issues
• Ensure quality control and commissioning readiness

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, containment, cabling, and distribution
• Experience working in live environments (essential)
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Valid ECS/CSCS card
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Mandatory:

• Enhanced DBS check (required due to project nature)

Desirable:

• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification
• First Aid certification
• Experience in healthcare, education, or other sensitive environments
