Electrical Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a large scale commercial construction project. This is a key role responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Electrical Supervisor-Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical teams and subcontractors on site
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, and regulations
• Monitor progress against programme and report on milestones
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, ensuring compliance with site policies
• Conduct inspections, quality checks, and snagging of electrical installations
• Liaise with project managers, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth delivery
• Manage materials, labour, and resources efficiently
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and apprentices

Electrical Supervisor-Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial projects
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Valid ECS/CSCS card
