Electrical Supervisor
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the successful delivery of commercial projects across South Wales, with a primary focus on sites in Barry and Rhoose. In this role, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of electrical operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Upcoming projects include high-profile developments across education, aviation, and healthcare sectors, including colleges, schools, airports, and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily on-site electrical operations across commercial infrastructure projects.

Prepare, implement, and enforce RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for electrical works.

Plan, manage, and monitor project programmes and installation schedules.

Ensure full compliance with all health and safety legislation, company procedures, and electrical regulations.

Complete all associated site administration, progress reporting, and sign-offs.

Procure and manage materials, ensuring stock levels support project timelines.

Coordinate, supervise, and manage subcontractors and internal electrical teams.

Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

Valid JIB/ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician or Technician status).

First Aid at Work qualification.

Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, 18th Edition wiring regulations, and electrical best practices.

Previous experience supervising or leading electrical installations on commercial projects.

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

Full UK driving licence.
