Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day electrical works on a high-profile commercial fit-out project

 This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and respected M&E contractor delivering exceptional results across the UK.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring all electrical installations are completed to the highest standards—on time, on budget, and in full compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site electrical teams, subcontractors, and junior staff

• Coordinate daily site activities and delegate work efficiently

• Ensure all electrical works comply with 18th Edition regulations and health & safety standards

• Liaise with project managers, site managers, and other trades

• Monitor quality control, resolve technical issues, and maintain project timelines

• Maintain documentation and daily reports including progress, inspections, and tool box talks

• Ensure materials and equipment are available and ordered in advance

• Conduct site inductions and briefings when required

Essential Requirements

• ECS Gold Card

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within commercial construction

• Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills

• Right to work in the UK

Desirable Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Testing & Inspection)

• First Aid at Work

• PASMA / IPAF (Preferred but not essential)

• Full UK Driving Licence
