We''re recruiting for an experienced Electrical Working Supervisor-to join a major mixed-use development in Cardiff city centre.

Offering 18 months of secured work at -32 per hour, this role would suit an experienced Electrical Supervisor or Lead Electrician who is comfortable managing a team while remaining hands-on with the installation.

This is a working supervisor position, not a purely management role. You will be expected to lead by example, coordinate electrical operatives on site and actively contribute to the installation works.

The project is a substantial mixed-use commercial development comprising retail units, office space and residential accommodation, providing long-term work on a high-profile scheme.

The Role

• Supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors
• Remaining hands-on and carrying out electrical installation work
• Coordinating daily activities to ensure works remain on programme
• Monitoring quality, productivity and health & safety standards
• Conducting toolbox talks and site briefings
• Liaising with site management and other trades
• Ensuring installations are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Supporting testing, commissioning and final handover activities

Requirements

• ECS Gold Card
• SSSTS qualification
• Recognised electrical qualifications
• Minimum 5 years'' commercial electrical experience
• Previous experience leading or supervising electrical teams
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
