Electrical Site Manager

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of a new EV Charging Facility. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing sector within the renewable energy and infrastructure space.

As the Electrical Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site electrical activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with health & safety and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site-based electrical works for EV charging installations

• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations

• Oversee quality assurance and commissioning of electrical systems

• Maintain detailed site records, reports, and documentation

• Manage resources, including labour, equipment, and materials

• Attend project meetings and provide progress updates

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

• SMSTS or SSSTS certified

• Valid ECS/JIB card

• Minimum 3 years of site management experience on electrical infrastructure projects

• Experience in EV charging installations or similar renewable energy projects

• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation

• Full UK driving licence
