Electrical Shift Technician

In this role, you will:Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a wide range of plant and equipmentRespond to breakdowns efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operationsSupport equipment reliability and availability through effective maintenance practicesIdentify and report spare parts requirementsWork in line with safe systems of work, SOPs and risk assessmentsContribute to a multi-skilled engineering team and undertake further training where requiredWhat you''ll need to succeedYou will bring a strong electrical engineering background and:A qualification to ONC level (or equivalent) in a relevant disciplineExperience working with control systems, including PLCsAbility to read and interpret electrical circuit diagramsExperience of motors and variable speed drivesA proactive and safety-focused approach to maintenanceWillingness to develop multi-skilled capabilitiesA full UK driving licenceExperience with container handling or crane equipment would be advantageous but is not essential.What you''ll get in returnIn return, you will receive:Competitive salary and shift allowance26 days annual leaveUp to ..... full job details .....
