We are seeking a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join our engineering maintenance team. Key Responsibilities Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Carry out electrical PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and attend to reactive breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime. Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair faults on complex electrical systems, control panels, distribution boards, and lighting/power circuits. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to current electrical regulations (BS 7671) and strict health and safety guidelines. Project Support: Assist with small-scale electrical installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new machinery or site infrastructure. Callout Duties: Participate in a 1-in-4 week standby rota to provide emergency cover outside of standard shift hours.
