Join to apply for the Electrical Senior Construction Supervisor - MEP role at Mace.Our MEP specialist Business Unit is looking for an Electrical Senior Construction Supervisor to be based at Heathrow Airport. You will be responsible for the MEP services delivery, health and safety and subcontractor performance and wellbeing, whilst liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. Manages multiple Sub-Contractors, Sub-Sub-Contractors and Suppliers on medium/large size projects whilst mentoring and guiding others.Responsibilities

Works within the project team, under direction, communicating and coordinating with colleagues, with ability to offer guidance and mentoring to others.Plans, monitors and manages the completion of the MEP installation and testing, using installation expertise and the project’s management processes.Manages onsite and liaises with project Sub-contractors, Sub-Subcontractors and Suppliers. Accountable for programme, HSW, and quality deliverables of their package or system.Coordinates and manages onsite interfaces between packages.Liaises and coordinates with key project stakeholders Design CMT and Construction teams.Establishes identification of risk and the production and implementation of mitigation plans.Supervises and uses modern methods of construction, learning about digital technologies and prefabrication.Provides comprehensive implementation onsite of Mace\''s standards and project strategies.Works collaboratively towards the goal of net zero carbon transition, and shares responsibility for proactive identification and management of carbon emissions and reductions during delivery of work.Qualifications

You will need an advanced knowledge of a technical trade (Building Services Engineering) including installation and testing methods, best practice and prefabrication to supervise, plan, and quality control of assigned packages or systems.Proficient knowledge of other technical trades, including basic installation techniques, prefabrication and best practice to ensure collaboration and coordination with other systems and packages.Proficient knowledge of construction build elements, including sequencing and dependencies to ensure collaboration and coordination with build elements.Basic knowledge of commercial management to assist the commercial teams with commercial control of a package, such as clean up notices, goods received and contract charges between packages.Proficient knowledge of planning processes and management, with understanding of release requirements, critical path, scheduling and commissioning activities to control packages during construction.Proficient knowledge of health, safety and welfare core elements to ensure safe management of supply chain packages.Proficient knowledge of quality assurance processes and commissioning of single systems to enable full completion of their package while assisting integration of systems.Proficient knowledge of digital setting out and scanning technologies.Basic understanding of system integration through Cause and Effect, BMS and IST integration.Experience in the relevant MandE construction sector.Ability to adapt, explore innovative approaches and use new technology; communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders.Demonstrates accountability, ethical and legal behavior; self-aware and resourceful; effective at managing resources and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to resolve problems, provide coaching, and support others to reach their potential; persuasive and influential when required.Completed Technical/Engineering Apprenticeship (Trade/Technical) or equivalent; City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent; BTECH/HNC or equivalent; CSCS Card; SMSTS Health and Safety Training.You’ll Also Have
