Electrical Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Quality Engineer to join our team within the nuclear sector. This is a critical role ensuring that all electrical systems, installations, and components meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance required in a highly regulated environment. You will play a key role in maintaining nuclear safety standards, supporting quality assurance processes, and ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and industry codes. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections and verification of electrical installations in line with project specifications and regulatory standardsEnsure compliance with nuclear industry quality standards, including ISO 9001 and site-specific proceduresReview electrical drawings, test results, and certification documentationConduct audits of installation and commissioning activitiesSupport the implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Identify non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actionsLiaise with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issuesEnsure all work complies with relevant UK regulations (e.g., BS 7671 Wiring Regulations)Maintain accurate quality records and support internal/external auditsCompilation and collation of LTQRs (Lifetime Quality Records) in line with project and regulatory requirementsPromote a strong safety and quality culture across all activities About You Essential Qualifications and ..... full job details .....
