Day-to-Day Duties

• Lead and manage small projects, survey, and supervise a team of electricians.

• Signing off EICR certificates

• Manage daily operations to ensure works are completed successfully within the required timeframe, specifications, and client needs.
• Document work using the company''s software and report to your manager.
• Plan, manage, and oversee all works, including variations or delays, and notify clients as necessary.
• Coordinate with management to ensure adequate labor and sub-contractor resources are available on site.
• Oversee materials and deliveries to ensure alignment with the program and project specifications.
• Motivate and manage site staff, supervisors, field engineers, and subcontractors to meet targets.
• Ensure workmanship and material standards comply with specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation, and company policy.
• Act as the primary contact between the Contracts Manager and site personnel.
• Oversee RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), toolbox talks, and documentation.
• Verify all inspection and testing results promptly to avoid delays, maintaining due care during verification.
• Stay updated with industry regulations.
• Act as the QS for the company''s electrical division and participate in NICEIC annual assessments.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results for clients and colleagues.

Minimum Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)

• City & Guilds 18th Edition certification.
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation.
• Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent certification.
• Skilled in fault finding, testing, and inspecting the work of others.
• Supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology usage.
• Experience working on social housing contracts or similar environments.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Possess necessary tools.
