Electrical QC Inspector

Electrical QC Inspector 

£38.50 per hour + overnight accommodation allowance + travel time + average 45-55hrs a week on site + excellent overtime / night rates + long-term, site-based contract work (outside IR35)

Electrical QC Inspector responsibilities include:

• Site-based, carrying out detailed Electrical Safety checks & inspections and delivering inspection reports
• ATEX / DSEAR inspections for explosive atmosphere electrical installations
• Risk assessment of fixed electrical installations
• Drawings, tracing, labelling and schedules of electrical installations
• Emergency lighting inspection and test to BS 5266 standard
• Electrical load analysis; Public entertainment licensing testing
• Lightning protection systems inspection and testing
• Electrical safety assessments for plant and machinery
• Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary 

Electrical QC Inspector profile:

• C&G Part 1, 2 & 3 electrical installation qualification OR HND / HNC
• C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate and 17th/18th Edition regs 
• COMPEX 01-04 desirable
• Recent experience working on large, high hazard construction project. 
• Experience of detailed ATEX Inspections
• SC cleared or eligible for SC clearance (British Citizen working in the UK only for the last 5yrs)  
• Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Current UK driving license
