Electrical Project Manager - HV Substations / National GridMelksham Contract 650 - 800 per day (Outside IR35)About the OpportunityOur client, a leading Tier 1 engineering contractor within the UK power and utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of a critical National Grid substation project in Melksham.The project is currently at a key delivery stage, and the client requires a proven HV Project Manager with demonstrable experience delivering high-voltage transmission substation projects within live National Grid environments.This role will suit a hands-on Project Manager with strong Tier 1 contractor experience, capable of leading complex HV infrastructure works while managing programme, commercial, safety, and stakeholder requirements across all phases of delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliveryLead the delivery of high-voltage substation works within a live National Grid environmentManage all project activities from construction through to commissioning and handoverEnsure delivery against programme, budget, quality, and safety objectivesCoordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams, subcontractors, and specialist HV suppliersHV Substation and Transmission InfrastructureManage HV infrastructure projects including substations, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and associated civilsOversee works across transmission-level voltage ranges including 132kV, 275kV and 400kV systemsCoordinate outages, ..... full job details .....
