Electrical Project Manager

MK Search and selection are currently working with a well respected, rapidly expanding MandE contractor who are looking to engage with an.electrical project manager to deliver a fast track 5m MandE logistics hub/distribution centre in Newport Wales in partnership with a leading main contractor. As electrical project manager you will act as lead on the scheme with a senior mechanical project engineer as a direct report tasked with managing the MEP package across the 6 month scheme. You will have involvement in pre-construction activities before going to site to lead a team of talented site managers and engineers to deliver to completion. The company in question are London based and this is their first venture in the south Wales market, with this in mind they are looking to engage people on a contract basis initially while they continue to tender for more work in the region to move onto after the 6 month project completes. The company in question have a very good reputation across the market with a very experienced senior leadership teams who come from larger contractors and have joined in the past 2 years and implemented a clear and exciting strategy to become a leading MandE contractor across the UK and European markets.
