The Opportunity
 
A well-established Mechanical and Electrical engineering services provider is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team, working across projects within the commercial and public sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who can take responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple electrical projects from inception through to handover.
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, procurement and resource planning.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Attend client and site meetings, providing technical support where required.
• Identify and manage project risks, implementing effective solutions where required.
• Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E, building services or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Strong project planning, organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Good commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and costs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• SMSTS qualification.
• ECS/CSCS card.
• First Aid qualification.
• Experience working on commercial, public sector or technically complex projects.
