Position Title: Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are a well-established and expanding construction company with over 40 years of experience, specializing in a wide range of building, mechanical, and electrical services.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional with a strong background in electrical installation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of electrical projects, from initial design and planning to final installation and sign-off.

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Liaise with clients, architects, and other contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

• Supervise site teams, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project deadlines.

• Conduct site surveys and inspections to monitor progress and compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients.

• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and implement effective solutions.

• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client''s satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction or M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) industry.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant safety standards.

• Demonstrable experience managing projects of varying sizes and complexities.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong leadership abilities with a knack for motivating and managing a team.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Relevant professional qualifications and certifications are highly desirable.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with both commercial and domestic electrical installations.

• Knowledge of steel work and related construction services.

• A background in M&E projects, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ability to work both as a main contractor and a sub-contractor.
