Electrical Project Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading M&E contractor who is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver a 60-week project near Newmarket.

This is a long-term contract role overseeing electrical installation works within a secure, regulated environment. The contractor is delivering a significant upgrade and refurbishment package and is looking for a strong, delivery-focused Project Manager to take full responsibility for the electrical scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full management of electrical installation works from pre-start through to handover
• Coordination of site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Liaison with client representatives and site security teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Programme management, progress reporting, and performance tracking
• Ensuring strict compliance with H&S, RAMS, and site procedures
• Overseeing commissioning, testing, and handover documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E sector
• Strong background delivering commercial, industrial, or secure environment projects
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and project delivery processes
• SMSTS (essential)
• ECS / CSCS (essential)
• Ability to pass security clearance checks (required)
