Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background managing electrical projects and driving them through to completion?
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager with a background in electrical infrastructure to join a growing and forward thinking organisation.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, including substations, EV infrastructure, and new electricity connections. You will be responsible for driving projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Working a hybrid pattern, splitting time between the local office and site. You will play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure while building a long term career within a business that continues to invest in both its people and project pipeline.
You will be stepping into a role where your decisions directly influence project success. You will be trusted to lead from the front, manage key relationships, and shape delivery strategies while benefiting from a supportive structure and clear progression opportunities.
My client is a well established civil and utilities contractor operating across the North West, Wales, and Yorkshire. They deliver fully integrated design and build solutions across sectors including gas, water, power, telecoms, and street lighting. Working with major developers, housing providers, and commercial clients, they have built a strong reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and consistent project delivery.
Responsibilities
In this Project Manager role, you will take responsibility for the full lifecycle of electrical projects. You will be doing the following:
§Leading multiple projects from planning through to completion
§Developing and managing detailed project programmes
§Coordinating teams, subcontractors, and supply chains
§Overseeing site activity to ensure progress, safety, and quality standards are met
§Acting as the key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
§Streamlining operations by improving work flows and resolving delivery challenges
§Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal quality expectations
§Managing risks, budgets, and timelines to maintain project performance
Criteria
§Electrical background as a qualified electrician
§Demonstrable experience delivering projects within electrical infrastructure
§Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
§A solid understanding of quality assurance and inspection processes
§Confident communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
§The ability to work both remotely and on site as required
§Full and clean driving license
Salary
§£60,000 - £70,000 (DOE)
