Electrical Project Manager

Electrical Project Manager with experience to lead the electrical delivery of a major new-build Science Park development in Bristol. This is a long term-project with a duation of 5 years and will comprise multiple high-specification buildings, research facilities and-laboratories

As the Electrical Project Manager you will be reporting to the Senior Project Director, you will take ownership of the electrical package from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring the successful management, coordination, and performance of specialist electrical subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of all electrical works across the Science Park development.
• Coordinate and oversee multiple electrical subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Review and monitor subcontractor progress against programme milestones.
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and coordination workshops.
• Work closely with the client team, consultants, design managers, and main contractor.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
• Review technical submissions, drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans.
• Monitor commercial performance and support the management of variations and change control.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover activities.
• Produce regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
