Electrical Project Engineer - Water Location: Tunbridge Wells / Southern Water sites Sector: Water / Utilities Working Arrangement: Predominantly site-based, with occasional travel to the London office We are working with an established contractor within the water sector who is looking to appoint an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of projects across the Southern Water framework. This role would suit an electrically biased Project Engineer with around 5 years'' relevant experience, ideally within the water or utilities sector. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across both the design and delivery/build stages of projects, taking responsibility for ensuring electrical works are technically sound and delivered effectively on site. Key Responsibilities Support the design, coordination and delivery of electrical works across Southern Water projects. Review and develop electrical designs, specifications and technical documentation. Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, designers and the wider project team. Provide technical input throughout the design and construction stages. Ensure electrical installations are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and relevant standards. Identify and resolve technical and engineering issues during project delivery. Coordinate design changes and ensure these are communicated effectively to site teams.
