Electrical Project Engineer - Water Industry Location: Hybrid / Site Based - South East Rate: Circa 450 p/d Ltd or CIS The Role We''re currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer with experience in the front end of project delivery. You''ll play a key part in shaping projects before they reach construction, working closely with operations, design teams and clients to define the most practical, cost-effective electrical engineering solutions across water and wastewater treatment sites. Duties Working across clean and wastewater treatment sites, you''ll be responsible for: Carrying out electrical site surveys and asset condition assessments. Developing project scopes and electrical engineering solutions. Producing feasibility studies and optioneering reports. Defining electrical equipment replacements and upgrade strategies. Supporting outline and detailed design teams with practical engineering input. Preparing budgets, estimates and technical scopes for tender. Working alongside commercial and delivery teams during pre-construction. Providing technical support throughout construction, testing and commissioning. Liaising with water company clients, operations teams and subcontractors. Ensuring electrical solutions comply with client standards, current legislation and relevant electrical regulations.
