Job DescriptionElectrical Power Systems Safety EngineerFull Time, HybridLocation - Bristol, Derby, SolihullAn exciting opportunity for an Electrical Power System Safety Engineer to join a specialist engineering team developing next-generation electrical power and control systems for future aerospace defence programmes.Our Electrical and Electronics teams are responsible for the design, integration and development of advanced electrical systems that support the operation, control and performance of aerospace products. These teams play a critical role in enabling future technologies and next-generation power systems.Working within a team of system safety and reliability experts, the Electrical Power System Safety Engineer will ensure that safety and reliability attributes of electrical power generation and distribution systems are understood and that risks are managed to an acceptable level throughout the product life cycle. This is a highly innovative RandD environment where you will directly influence the safety architecture of future airborne platforms.What you will be doingPerforming system safety assessments on complex electrical power generation and distribution systems to aerospace standards.Identifying hazards and failure conditions, maintaining hazard logs, and driving mitigations through to design implementation.Defining functional safety requirements and flowing them down to designers, customers, and suppliers - then verifying compliance throughout ..... full job details .....
