About the Role
The Electrical Panel Design Engineer position in Cookstown is a permanent role offering a salary between £32,000 and £45,000 per annum. The role involves designing and developing electrical control panels to meet project specifications and industry standards. Key responsibilities include creating detailed schematics and panel layouts using EPlan software, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with teams to support project delivery. Candidates should possess project management experience; familiarity with control panels, cable sizing, or motors is advantageous. The ability to read specification documents and interact with customers is highly desirable. This position also involves providing technical support throughout the design and manufacturing process, alongside performing quality checks.

Responsibilities

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in control panel design or related electrical engineering roles.
Proficiency in EPlan software for electrical schematic design and panel layout.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
