Electrical Operations Supervisor

Overview

A Public Sector client in Berkshire is recruiting for an Electrical Operations Supervisor to join their Commercial Services team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience within a local authority environment, particularly housing or compliance-focused roles.Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of all electrical works across the housing stock, ensuring safe working practices, technical compliance, and high-quality outcomes.Manage a team of electrical professionals, act as a Qualified Supervisor (QS), and embed a customer-centric approach to service delivery.Manage and oversee electrical installations, responsive repairs, and planned works including inspection and testing, heating installations, and rewires.Act as Qualified Supervisor (QS), review and sign off electrical certification.Record and validate inspection and testing results, ensuring compliance with NICEIC standards.Monitor team performance and productivity, providing training and support where required.Ensure compliance with BS7671 and all health and safety policies and procedures.Lead on customer service excellence, resolving feedback and complaints effectively.Deputise for the Senior Electrical Operations Manager where required.Candidate / Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Work (or approved equivalent).City and Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.Experience as a Qualified Supervisor (NICEIC, NAPIT, or equivalent).Desirable skills

Strong supervisory or managerial experience within electrical works.Experience in social housing or public sector environments.Full driving licence with access to own vehicle.Salary and Benefits
