Mobile Electrical Maintenance EngineerRole OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and proactive Engineer to manage a variety of electrical and mechanical maintenance services. This mobile position focuses on delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to ensure client facilities remain safe and operational. You will be primarily based in the Midlands, with occasional travel to other regional sites as required.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and Technical OperationsPreventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled inspections and tasks ranging from daily to biannual cycles, ensuring all work aligns with SFG20 industry standards.Electrical Compliance: Perform installations and upgrades in accordance with current wiring regulations and issue the necessary certifications.System Monitoring: Maintain and troubleshoot diverse building systems, including HVAC, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and high-voltage/low-voltage switchgear.Documentation: Accurately log all completed works through digital reporting systems and ensure statutory safety records are readily accessible.Safety and Quality ControlSite Inspections: Carry out regular safety audits and report on the environmental, health, and safety performance of the project to the management team.Risk Management: Develop and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS) for all site activities.Subcontractor Management: Supervise external vendors to ensure they comply with site safety permits ..... full job details .....
