Electrical Mechanical Inspector

Electro-Mechanical Inspectors (Defence) 30 p/hThis activity is inside IR35 (Umbrella Company Required)Currently seeking two experienced Inspectors to support a stock validation program over a three-month period.Based near Wimbledon, the role will require the unpacking and checking of mechanical and electrical components comply with basic inspection checks, and ensuring all associated paperwork is correct. Responsibilities: To quality inspect all in-stock itemsTo conduct both visual and basic mechanical inspection of partsTo log discrepancies found and provide feedback clearly to the customerTo clear the backlog of stock in quarantineValidation of all associated product documentation Background and Experience: A skillset in electrical and mechanical inspectionExperience of UK MOD assurance requirements and working practicesSound working knowledge of Defence engineering standards and working practicesKnowledge of ISO 9001 and 27001Experience in risk identification, reporting and managementSelf-motivated and able to work both autonomously and as part of a wider teamExcellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, suppliers and customersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in IT skills, specifically in MS Office toolsFlexible and responsive attitudeProficient at multi-tasking, working under pressure and to tight deadlinesExcellent attention to detail Additional Requirements:Must be a UK National (due to program ..... full job details .....
